I write this tribute as Ian’s best mate of some 48 years we played football together for the Fire Brigade in 1977 when I joined he was in every way a fantastic man, player and Without doubt as brave as a Lion in and and every Fire situation that we faced together. He was warm , Charismatic and extremely funny in my time spent on his watch
Always ready to be the calming influence at incidents to young Firefighters and generous with his advice and time a true Legend you will always be remembered and loved Mucker
